Frederic. Montréal. Blogger.
Weiter so!
Wir wollten mehr wissen – hier sein REFlection …
1. What does the word „DOING“ mean in your world?
Throughout the day, I’m always thinking of new ways to improve BLDG//WLF. Whether it’s the content, post frequency, blog layout or potential collaborations, I’m dedicated to give the most creative and inspirational experience as possible.

2. What does „DOING NOTHING“ mean in your world?
Doing nothing doesn’t exist for me. Even when I’m just relaxing, I keep an eye open on everything that surrounds me: advertising, design, street art, photography…

YOUR WORK
1. It all started …
BLDG//WLF is born from the desire to build something that would eventually become a reference. A website created to give exposure to artists (design, illustration, photography, street art) by publishing fresh content everyday.

2. To me my job is like …
Even if I spend countless hours working on BLDG//WLF, I don’t consider it a job. Art is a lifelong passion and this site is the best way I found to share it.

3. A normal day at work is usually like this:
It usually starts very early… I begin my daily routine on Twitter to see what happened overnight, I thank all the people who shared my content, I read my emails and I end up on Facebook to see what’s going on with the BLDG//WLF page. I browse through portfolio submissions, I do my daily web research and I curate what will be posted on the site that day.

4. The biggest influence on my work has …
the work of all the artists I feature on BLDG//WLF. I can spend hours looking at portfolios and I’m constantly amazed by the talent of all these designers, illustrators, photographers…
___________________________________________________________________________
5. My latest project is called:
BLDG//WLF (Building a Wolf) IS my latest project
___________________________________________________________________________
6. Itʼs about …
BLDG//WLF is a Montreal (Canada) based blog focusing on illustration, photography, design, music, street art and fashion.

YOUR LIFE
1. This is what I am today:
I’m happy with everything I do on a regular basis with BLDG//WLF and I hope to have the opportunity to push the site further in the next few years.
___________________________________________________________________________
2. This is what my parents always wanted:
Every parent wants their children to be happy. In this perspective, I’m very happy… both personally and professionally.
___________________________________________________________________________
3. This is what I pictured to be easier in life:
Underestimating the power of my own decisions was a great mistake. So many possibilities and so little time. Everyday, I wake up with a new project or a new idea but I gotta stay focus if I want to do things right. All in good time…
___________________________________________________________________________
4. And this what I pictured to be a lot harder than it is/was:
I think we all tend to take a bit of everything for granted and one day you wake up and realize you’re gonna have to do more than just sitting around if you want to achieve things in life. Ultimately, work is a motivation in itself and you can only be satisfied when your efforts start to pay off.
